If you are a developer who uses GNU Autoconf you should have a look at the GNU Autoconf macro archive. The archive could save you a lot of effort. It includes my Curses autodetection macro.
Update: Autoconf 2.50 released after 2 years of development.

I've just finished writing the PHP personal weblog used on this page. It is highly configurable and is designed to be easily grafted into a given style. I plan to release the source in the near future.
